Isabelle Pauzé

Isabelle Pauzé is a Métis illustrator from the Georgian Bay Métis Community and is a descendant of the Labatte and Dusome families. She grew up next to her Mémère and Pépère’s farm in Lafontaine, Ontario. She has been drawing and painting since a young age and is currently completing an Honours Bachelor of Illustration at Sheridan College. Her work spans various styles and mediums, including watercolours, inks, acrylics, and more recently, digital art. She hopes to continue creating warm and engaging illustrations for young readers. Her debut children's book, exploring Métis identity, is The Table Knows My Name by Sarah Tate.
