LOGICO: Different and Unplugged

Parents love this game for its durability and compact nature. It requires little space for storage and has no loose parts that can be lost! LOGICO will keep children busy when travelling on holiday or on long car trips, and will keep them entertained over dinner in a restaurant.

LOGICO may be hand-held, but it isn’t a tablet. Above all, it’s easy to hold, and the button system is perfect for solving the puzzles on the learning cards. With so much potential, how can you make the most of LOGICO?

Fit it in with your current topic.

LOGICO PRIMO for age 3 to 6 comes with 11 different learning card sets. Each set contains 16 different cards, giving you a wide variety with which to experiment! LOGICO PRIMO topics focus on many essential skills, taking into consideration the Early Years and Primary Curriculum. This includes counting, letter recognition, shapes and colors, and foundations of geometry. The games also work on: improving concentration, arts and crafts, learning about daily routines, matching, sorting, and sequencing. Once you have an overview of each area, select the cards which are relevant to your current classroom topic. Or you might just want to go by the illustrations and see where the activity takes you!

Combine different learning areas.

It’s a great idea to combine different learning areas to help children create links between what they already know and the new information. Furthermore, important areas such as literacy or mathematics are not ‘stand-alone’ concepts; they can be linked to give kids a well-rounded education!

For instance, children could be learning about different traditions (such as Hanukkah or Christmas) which could lead to discussions about what sort of music is played during these festivals. Then, children might solve a LOGICO PRIMO activity showing different musical instruments. After this, children could listen to some music and try picking out all the different musical instruments playing. Finally, the class could come up with a special dance routine to fit the occasion.

International Recognition:

Why do you need LOGICO?

There is so much knowledge that adults take for granted such as counting, colour recognition, and reading. We also had to learn how to focus on tasks, how to solve problems, and how to apply logical thinking! LOGICO will help your children develop these skills and many more through PLAY:
  • Playing needs utmost concentration. Research has proved that the ability to memorise grows with the level of concentration.
  • Playing is fun and is usually done in a relaxed and emotionally positive atmosphere. Facts learnt in this context are retained and memorised in the long-term memory of the human brain.
  • Play and games are kind of 'unreal'. The children feel they are free of consequences and sanctions for making mistakes - ideal for the learning process.
  • Learning games avoid repression of learning between children because they learn through play with their classmates. In this way, they learn interaction, communication, and other essential social skills.
For Teachers

The categorised learning cards comprise a variety of topics from the curriculum and are intended to assist children to develop their abilities in observation, comparison, analysis, and reasoning. Content covers skills such as color and shape recognition, logical thinking and reasoning, spatial and geometrical skills, mathematical concepts and operations, problem solving, and literacy development.

The structure of the program enables teachers to differentiate tasks easily according to individual needs. Cards can be used to introduce new concepts, allowing students to work through the cards to practice and consolidate skills as required. Students requiring additional stimulation can challenge themselves using the more difficult version.
