About Stacey Laviolette

As a mom, Stacey knows the challenges of proper dental hygiene all too well. Her own two-year-old daughter struggled with brushing, which resulted in multiple cavities. Stacey was able to turn things around for her daughter when she introduced a plush stuffy she called “Toothy.” It soothed her daughter’s fears and encouraged her to build healthy hygiene habits. Stacey was inspired to write MY FRIEND TOOTHY in hopes of assisting parents and caregivers who are struggling with kids’ anxiety surrounding dental care, and to build a healthier mindset around this topic.
